About Dr. Yang
Dr. Carolyn Yang is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Yang received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. She then completed her medical education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas where she also finished her residency in orthopaedic surgery. She then concluded her training with a fellowship in hand, elbow, and upper extremity at the University of California - San Francisco.

Upon completing her training, Dr. Yang has practiced at Northwest Permanente, P.C. and most recently at ZOOM+Care as the Orthopaedics Lead. As of January 1, 2021, she will be taking over Dr. Mark Buehler's practice upon his retirement.

Dr. Yang is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She holds memberships in the Oregon Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society and the American Association for Hand Surgery.
